Meet Danielle

Hello! Welcome!

My name is Danielle and I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist with a special interest in gut health, hormones and the connection between nutrition and mental health.

I started my practice in 2019 with the intention to help women develop a positive relationship with food. Growing up in the 90’s, I was part of the generation raised by diet culture which has minimized food into calories, grams of fat and things we should and shouldn’t eat.

I’m changing the narrative. I want every woman that works with me to understand what her body really needs and how to support it using a food-first approach.

I’m also an elementary teacher and I love little humans! I’ve been working with kids since I was 14, when I started my first ever job coaching gymnastics which I did for 16 years. In my practice, I work with kids and strongly believe that nutrition is a fundamental piece of the puzzle when it comes to behaviour challenges, food intolerances, skin issues and digestive concerns.

I’m far from a perfect nutritionist and I break my own rules! The goal is to create nourishing habits that are sustainable most of the time so that we can still enjoy dinners out and meals with friends.

What will we do in sessions?

Our first session is a deep dive into your health history, biggest challenges and top goals. We’ll chat about what’s driving your symptoms so you can understand why and I’ll make initial recommendations on meal timing, food combinations and how to level up the nutrients in your meals.

During follow-up sessions, I’ll teach you how to make small shifts that become a sustainable lifestyle and help you tweak routines and troubleshoot challenges, every step of the way.

I incorporate optimal hair tissue mineral analysis testing that helps us identify the root causes of common health issues. HTMA helps us identify nutrient imbalances and deficiencies so we can create a custom action plan to address them from the inside out.
